Associate Professor Rakhima Malkarova of Kabardino-Balkarian State University at a Forum on the Development of Inclusive Education
Rakhima Malkarova, Associate Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Physical Education and Sports Education at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov and a lecturer for the «Knowledge» Society, participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Towards Effective and Sustainable Improvement of Education Quality.» The event was held at the Dagestan State Pedagogical University named after R. Gamzatov. Participants discussed current issues in the development of special (defectological) and inclusive education, as well as modern approaches to training highly qualified personnel to work with children with special educational needs.
The conference also included master classes for children with disabilities.
Rakhima Malkarova noted the importance of sharing experiences in the socialization of students with multiple developmental disabilities.
«I was particularly impressed by the experience of creating jobs for people with disabilities, particularly the successful implementation of the «Special Masters» craft workshop and coffee shop projects. This example clearly demonstrates how young people with special needs can be integrated into society and provided with opportunities for self-fulfillment,» emphasized the associate professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Physical Education and Sports Education.
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov consistently and purposefully develops inclusive education. The university has created all the necessary conditions for comfortable and effective learning for students with disabilities. Specialized educational programs are developed to meet the individual needs of each student, and adaptive teaching methods are used to ensure their full educational integration.
