Are you applying on a budget? Do not forget to bring the original documents before 12:00 on the third of August!

An important date in the 2023 admissions campaign is until 12:00 on August 3, all applicants applying for state-funded places must submit their original documents to the educational institutions where they enter.

Admission campaign of KBSU 2023The admission campaign of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University has passed its «equator». To date, we have completed the acceptance of documents from persons applying for state-funded places in bachelor’s and specialist’s programs. Tomorrow they have an important date — August 3, before 12:00 noon, they must provide their original certificates or diplomas for inclusion in budget orders where they see that they are passing through the competition. On August 9, we expect an order for enrollment for the indicated persons.

I want to immediately note that the availability of the original document on education or qualifications, namely a certificate or college diploma when applying for budget places for undergraduate and specialist programs, is a mandatory requirement for inclusion in the order. That is, when they say: “We will pass the points anyway, there is nothing to be afraid of,” they are greatly mistaken! Having a sufficient number of points means fulfilling the conditions of the competition; to obtain admission, a prerequisite is the presence of the original document on education in the university system, in our documents. Anyone who does not do this before 12 noon on August 3 will be left out of work.

At the moment, on the morning of August 2, 7,640 applicants are registered in our information system, of which more than 4,000 applicants are persons who enter undergraduate and specialist programs.

The submission of documents went through all the channels that are provided for by the admission rules and the Federal Admission Procedure, that is, this is a personal reception, and acceptance through the public mail of documents that are necessary for admission, and acceptance through the platform of the State Service super-service «Admission to a university online» .

It should be noted that 37% of applicants entering undergraduate and specialist programs submitted documents through the State Service portal. Last year we noted 28%, that is, a ten percent increase is observed.

Among applicants, the most demanded areas are the medical block, legal and economic blocks, where they traditionally submit the most documents and applications, and I also want to note such areas as architecture, information security, linguistics, international relations, which are also in high demand.

The selection committee of KBSU continues its work. Important reference dates, as I noted above, August 9 — the release of an order for persons who enter the budget for undergraduate and specialist programs.

Until August 10, we accept documents from those who are going to enter the contract for undergraduate and specialist programs, until August 20 they pass their entrance examinations.

Until August 15, documents are being accepted from persons entering the programs of secondary vocational education.
