Archery champion works at KBSU

Senior lecturer of the Institute of Management, Tourism and Hospitality Industry of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov won the open championship of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in indoor archery for the Cup of St. George the Victorious.

The competition was attended by teams from Novorossiysk, Nalchik and Vladikavkaz. A total of 40 shooters. Athletes with musculoskeletal disorders also competed on an equal footing with everyone else. The shooters competed in two disciplines: classic bow and compound bow.

Natalya Kulyushina became the first in the discipline «Compound Bow» at a distance of 18 m.

The Kulyushin family is well known in the republic. Her husband Alexander Kulyushin heads a sports-adaptive school, he is the president of the Archery Federation of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. Natalia is a trainer and teacher of adaptive physical education, senior teacher of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sport of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, champion of Russia in archery among veterans, candidate for master of sports. Daughter Yana is a student of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, also a professional archer. Just like her mother, she has repeatedly won and won prizes at competitions of various levels.
