An international conference on algebra was held at KBSU

The Elbrus Educational and Scientific Complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov hosted the International Conference «Algebra and Dynamic Systems». The event, which brought together leading mathematicians, was timed to coincide with a significant date — the 90th anniversary of the Honored Scientist of Russia Vyacheslav Belonogov.

More than 90 scientists from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia took part in the scientific dialogue. The composition is representative: among the speakers there are 2 Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 32 Doctors of Science, 39 Candidates of Science, 7 postgraduate students and 3 Masters.

The organizers identified the main goal of the forum as analyzing the current state and identifying promising areas for the development of algebra, number theory, graph theory and the theory of differential equations.

The conference program included 16 plenary reports and 32 sectional presentations, which allowed discussing the latest scientific achievements.

Natalia Cherkesova, Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Innovation Activities of KBSU, addressed the participants with a parting word. She wished the scientists productive discussions and new ideas for solving problems.

The practical result of the conference was the publication of a scientific collection. It included 77 articles based on the abstracts of the presented reports.

The organizers were the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (KBSU) and the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics named after N.N. Krasovsky of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMM UB RAS).
