Admission campaign of KBSU. Results for July 11, 2023

Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov is in the midst of the admission campaign — 2023. Hundreds of yesterday’s schoolchildren, together with their parents, come daily to the leading university of the republic to decide on their future profession. And the choice of directions is really wide.

There are 346 educational programs in KBSU, which are implemented in 11 institutes, 1 academy and 4 colleges. In the 2023/2024 academic year, approximately 5,500–6,000 people will be enrolled at KBSU. About 2.5 thousand places have been allocated for education at the expense of the state, the same number is planned to be accepted on a contractual basis and about 500 applicants from among foreign citizens and stateless persons

Timur Tabishev, head of the admissions department at KBSU, spoke about the interim results of the admission campaign:

July 10 was the day of the historical maximum. A record number of applications have been accepted from applicants since the start of the 2023 admissions campaign, namely 430. As of July 11, the information system recorded about 3.5 thousand applicants for all levels of training. The leader is the number of applications submitted to the levels of higher education — bachelor’s, specialist, as well as to the level of special vocational education.

If we talk about the format for submitting documents, then a third of them came through the super service “Admission to a university online” of the State Services portal. I would like to emphasize that to date, 145 more applications have been received from applicants than for the same period in 2022.

We remind you that tomorrow, July 12, is the last day for applying for undergraduate and specialist programs for those who will take entrance examinations at the university. This applies to college graduates, as well as those who follow a special separate quota. Tomorrow until 18.00. they are required to log into the information system of the admission committee of KBSU.

There are other reference points: July 25 is the deadline for submitting documents for everyone who enters the budget for undergraduate and specialist programs based on the results of the USE.

According to vocational programs in colleges, you can submit documents until August 10 for those who go with an entrance exam, and until August 15 for those who go to specialty vocational education without entrance examinations.
