Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov from all over the country mourns with the families of those killed as a result of the monstrous attacks on Crimea and Dagestan. Terrible tragedies that claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians, including children, occurred one after another on one of the main holidays for Christians — the Day of the Holy Trinity.

Head of the KBR Kazbek Kokov, acting rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov, members of the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, spiritual leaders of the republic, veterans of the Northern Military District, students and teachers of the university laid flowers at a spontaneous memorial near the walls of the university.

We as a whole must resist this evil. Victory will be ours, and there will always be a peaceful sky above our country,

— Kazbek Kokov emphasized.

Those gathered called on everyone to join the memorial event and express their solidarity with those who lost their loved ones in these tragic events.

Terrorists will not be able to intimidate the Russian people; they will receive our worthy anger and rebuff. Attempts to destabilize the situation in the country and in the regions have no chance,

— said the participants of the mourning rally.

The memory of those killed in the terrorist attacks in Sevastopol, Makhachkala and Derbent was honored with a minute of silence.

Residents of the republic continue to bring flowers to the spontaneous memorial at the main building of KBSU.
