A new institute will appear at KBSU

February 27, 2023 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov held a meeting of the Academic Council of the university chaired by the Acting Rector of KBSU Murat Gukepshokov. Members of the Academic Council approved changes to the rules for admission to KBSU for 2023, made in accordance with the letters of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

In particular, they discussed the introduction of a quota for children of persons participating in a special military operation, as well as the obligation to introduce additional entrance tests for admission to education in pedagogical areas of training. At the meeting, a decision was made on a lump-sum payment in the amount of 57, 500 rubles to 100-point students who entered the university in 2022.

First Vice-Rector of KBSU — Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vadim Lesev presented for discussion by the faculty of the university a project to create a new educational unit in the structure of the university — the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Industry (conditional name). The meeting participants unanimously voted for the creation of a technology transfer center and a sustainable development center at the university and the adoption of regulations on these centers.

The academic council also adopted a regulation on the personnel reserve of KBSU, which is formed in order to train specialists for the positions, including scientists, employees from among the teaching staff, teachers of SVE and heads of structural divisions, promising employees studying in the areas of training specialty, magistracy, postgraduate study.

Priority will be given to those who have the necessary knowledge in the field of higher education, business and personal qualities, capable of carrying out professional activities in the future, ensuring the achievement of the goals of the university, its development, organizing educational, scientific and managerial activities at the level of the best world standards.

The personnel reserve will help in the timely filling of vacancies in administrative and managerial positions, retaining and retaining promising specialists, including scientists, employees from among the teaching staff, teachers of secondary vocational education and heads of structural divisions at the university, will help in replenishing the scientific and pedagogical staff university young teachers and researchers.
