On the eve of the Day of the Adyghe Flag, a festive concert was held at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, organized by the pedagogical college of the university.

Opening the evening, candidate of philological sciences and teacher of the PCC of the theory and methodology of primary education Sakima Posholova noted:

The Day of the Adyghe Flag is not just a symbol, it is a reminder of our heritage, our culture and our unity as a people. This holiday is celebrated annually on April 25 by all Adyghe (Circassians) — Kabardians, Adyghe, Circassians, Shapsugs, as well as the Adyghe (Circassian) diaspora.

The teacher explained that the flag is a significant symbol for the Adyghe people. The green cloth depicts three crossed golden arrows as a symbol of unity and twelve golden stars, i.e. twelve Adyghe tribes. The green color of the banner means life.

The concert program, prepared by students of the pedagogical college, consisted of musical numbers, dance performances and poetry readings in the Adyghe language. This allowed the audience to get to know the culture of the Circassian people, their traditions and customs better. The audience especially remembered the staging of some national rituals associated with the concept of «Adyghe khabze» — a set of unwritten laws and rules, a code of conduct and honor of the Adyghe.

At the end of the meeting, the organizers expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, emphasizing the importance of respect for the Adyghe people and their unique heritage. This event became not only a celebration of art, but also a living bridge between cultures, strengthening mutual understanding.
