634 red diplomas were awarded at KBSU
July 8, 2022 in the Green Theater of Nalchik, the best graduates of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov received diplomas with honors. Before the ceremony, it was announced that KBSU is in the top 100 universities in Russia, is one of the leading classical scientific and educational centers of the North Caucasus Federal District, and in 2021 became a participant in the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation «Priority-2030», which raised it and, accordingly, its graduates to a new academic level.
About 17,000 students, graduate students, residents from more than 40 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and almost 50 foreign countries study in 15 educational divisions of KBSU. For a number of indicators, KBSU has strengthened its position in the rankings of the best universities in the world and for the first time in its history entered the subject-based international ranking of the world’s leading universities Round University Ranking (RUR). Chairman of the Government of the KBR Aliy Musukov noted that these successes are significant for the republic. “On behalf of the Government of the Republic and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the successful completion of your studies. Student years are a bright and dynamic period in the life of every person who was lucky enough to study at a higher educational institution. This is a time of bold ideas and hopes, a wonderful time of youth, love, friendship and creative undertakings. The time when the foundations of a future career are laid and a person’s life position is formed, — said Aliy Takhirovich. – For 90 years, the walls of KBSU have been accepting new applicants. It produces highly qualified specialists, while being the custodian of special traditions and a unique corporate culture. I am also a university graduate and proud of it. I hope that you will carry this pride through your whole life.” With special words of gratitude, Aliy Musukov addressed the scientific and teaching staff of KBSU, noting that their work is both very difficult and honorable. And about. Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov said that this year the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov graduated from 3107 people and 634 of them receive a diploma with honors. He also recalled that 2022 is an anniversary year: 90 years have passed since the founding of the university and 100 years since the formation of Kabardino-Balkaria.
“Dear graduates, of course, you have acquired knowledge in areas that are very important and will continue to develop. In addition, you have made friends, learned to set goals and achieve goals, work in a team. We know and see that all this is the basis of your future. The chief federal inspector for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Timur Makoev also congratulated the students.
