6 projects of KBSU are among the winners of the competition «Rosmolodezh.Grants»
The results of the competition Rosmolodezh.Grants among educational institutions of higher education have been summed up. In the 2023 season, 184 universities became winners. Thanks to grant support, higher education institutions will be able to implement 687 projects in various regions of Russia. In total, almost 898 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. One of the winners of the current year was a complex application from the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov.
In their application, the university team proposed to implement the following projects: — Training program «Mentor 2023», direction #move_communities; – Youth educational camp “Luch”, direction #you_are_not_alone; – Festival of student organizations “STUDstock”, direction # inspire; — The program of patriotic education of students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. HM. Berbekova, direction #remember; – District program of sports and patriotic development of youth “ProSport”, direction #be_healthy; – All-Russian integrated environmental project “ProEcology 2.0”, direction #save_nature. All 6 projects are planned to be implemented by November 2023.
The purpose of the complex application of KBSU was to create favorable conditions that contribute to the development of social and cultural competence of the personality of a university graduate with a high level of professional and general cultural skills, socially significant knowledge, an active socially oriented life position, a system of spiritual, civic and moral values. Note that universities could apply for participation in the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition until February 28 inclusive.
Applications were accepted in several stages. In particular, students could vote for their favorite projects through the Youth of Russia system.
“There are many ambitious and creative young people in our country who, year after year, join the grant competitions of Rosmolodezh. In total, in 2023, universities sent 340 applications — this is almost 2,300 projects for a total amount of more than two billion rubles. It was not so easy to choose the best of the best, all projects were aimed at developing the regions of our country and creating unique platforms for young people,” — said Ksenia Razuvaeva, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
She added that a vote was organized to select the best student applications. More than 98 thousand people from universities throughout Russia took part in the survey. The maximum amount of a grant for one university will traditionally be 15 million rubles. According to the regulations, all applications were checked for compliance with the rules of the competition. Based on this check, a decision was made on the admission or rejection of the application for participation in the peer review.
