3 employees of KBSU were mobilized for service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
The head of the mobilization department of the KBSU, Betal Kalmykov, noted that in connection with the partial mobilization announced in the country on September 21, 2022 by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, two employees of the university administration and one teacher of the college of design were called up to serve in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Another teacher waiting for the agenda. All of them are reserve officers who were in the mobilization reserve of the Russian army.
“At the moment, three of our colleagues have already gone to the 503rd regiment, located in the village of Troitskoe in the Republic of Ingushetia, to form teams for dispatch. Another university employee is waiting for a summons. Then they will head closer to the place of the special military operation. It is not a fact that upon arrival at their destination they will immediately be sent to the places of hostilities, at the moment there is a lot of work for the officers in the rear. Soldiers with combat experience are sent to the front line. In addition, the command understands that those called up from the reserve need to be trained, remember their skills, go through the so-called combat coordination for about a month», — Betal Kalmykov explained.
“With partial mobilization, military enlistment offices switch to a round-the-clock mode of operation, mobilization teams are formed across the country. In fact, only reservists who are capable of performing combat missions, people with popular military specialties, fit for health reasons, with experience in military service, as well as combat veterans, are called up for service. The Decree of the President says that students of full-time and part-time education in institutions with state accreditation will be exempted from partial mobilization, so even those students who served in the period of partial mobilization will not be called up,” — Betal Kalmykov said.

KBR launches «Hotline» on partial mobilization issues
On September 23th, the military commissar of Kabardino-Balkaria Dmitry Pahomov held a press conference in order to exclude false information and rumors about partial mobilization, which are deliberately spread on the Internet by information and sabotage groups.
“One of the myths is that everyone is allegedly sent to a special operation. It is not true! In fact, military personnel of the first category and first category are subject to partial mobilization. Citizens who are registered with the military — shooters, tankers, gunners, drivers and mechanics, as well as those who have combat experience can be called up. Conscripts and students are not subject to the call. The deferment is given to those who are declared temporarily unfit for military service for health reasons for up to six months and law enforcement officers. A reservation can also be obtained by fathers-to-be if the spouse is more than 22 weeks pregnant. Those who have three dependent children under 16 years of age and those whose relatives need constant care for health reasons will also not be called up. Citizens who are called up as part of partial mobilization receive all the rights and benefits, as well as military personnel under the contract,” — explained the military commissar of the KBR.
On issues of partial mobilization, a “hot line” was opened in the Republican military registration and enlistment office — +7 (988) 724-34-98.
